INSIGHT TO INNOVATION: TRANSLATING YOUR IDEAS INTO MARKETABLE PRODUCTS

In this workshop, group activities that are designed to lead participants through the processes of needs assessment, market analysis, regulatory considerations, and intellectual property are interspersed with short lectures from subject matter experts with industry experience. By the end of this session, participants should be able to take clinical problems and transform them into marketable ideas ready to pitch to investors.
This one day workshop will build the basis for you to take a clinical problem and transform it into a marketable product that you can pitch to a venture capitalist. The day will be spent in groups that will work through the process. Topics include doing a needs assessment, market analysis, brainstorming design concepts, thinking about intellectual property, considering FDA regulatory pathways, and the “killer” experiment. In one day you will go from clinical challenge to “pitching” your idea. We will provide expert access and a community to support your future innovation efforts.

Pre-meeting workshop and additional session registrations do not include registration for the Annual Meeting. If you are attending a a pre-meeting workshop or additional session ONLY, you are not required to register for the Annual Meeting.
